Micah Howard, Faculty Advisor (2003-Present)
     Micah Howard has been a member of  the world renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra since 1996, and, since the spring of 2000, he has been teaching string bass as adjunct faculty at the Dana School of Music, Youngstown State University. As a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony, he has toured five continents, including Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and North America. Mr. Howard regularly performs as a recitalist ,and as soloist, he has been featured with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Dana Chamber Orchestra and the Dana Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Howard received his Bachelor of Music degree from Youngstown State University, where he studied with Tony Leonardi,  and his Masters degree from Duquesne University's School of Music, where he studied with Jeffrey Turner.
